food, with personality. where to begin? we visited for a special 30th birthday lunch, on a beautiful, yet blusterous day - and boy The Cove deliver. the food was sensational; fresh, incredibly well flavoured, inspired tastes from not only local delicacies but far beyond. the staff were accommodating, and recommended us some amazing local rose! we sat inside (thank god, because it was as i previously mentioned, blusterous) and had the best seat in the house - the cove, with a breathtaking view out to sea. the owner was around to chat and gave us a brief run down of his team and their backgrounds. a highlight for sure, was the monkfish ragu pasta, and the rabbit. but also, ricotta stuffed courgette and cured mackerel to start was sensational. and some of the meatiest oysters i’ve ever tasted. we will 100% be back - a true undiscovered gem! thank you again.

What an experience: this restaurant is a must during your stay in all of Puglia. Let’s start with the setting - absolutely magical. Sets the tone for a fantastic evening. The owner and the staff offer impeccable service with a smile. The food is an unmissable experience . Quality of the food is top, presentation beautiful and the taste is unbelievable. You just leave this restaurant as your last experience in Puglia otherwise no other restaurant will compare to this - when considering the food, the staff, the location and the price. When comparing the amount spent with the food and atmosphere it is extremely well priced. We are definitely coming again for Polignano a Mare just to come back to the Cove !

Lovely experience, the staff was kind and the food was quite good. Also the view speaks for itself. Only point to mention is that the gnocchetti with shrimps it’s actually with Shrimp tartare and it’s not mentioned in the menu. I don’t eat anything raw so it was quite disappointing that it was not clear in the menu
